About Us
Retina Burn Photography has been in business since 1999. Initially we photographed kids and families on location, but quickly added weddings to our repartoire to meet demand. Weddings have since become our primary focus, with seniors a close second.
Weddings
Our first wedding season was 2000, making the upcoming season of 2011 our twelfth year photographing weddings. Our many years of experience show through in the quality of our wedding photography. Let us provide you with beautiful memories of your special day.
Seniors
We have been creating original images for graduating seniors since 2000. While we have not pushed our senior portraits in the past, the seniors we have photographed have been very happy with their portraits. Beginning this year we would like to expand our senior division with the introduction of our ambassador program.
Kids Young and Old
We first offered Transitions portraits several years ago. This year we have expanded the line to include Transitions albums. We have also added a special program for new mommies and mommies to be with our YearOne program.
Photographer
Retina Burn Photography is owned and operated by photographer, Sharon King. Sharon has been photographing the world since she received her first camera at age nine. She moved up to 35mm in high school and went on to a career in the photo industry working at two different portrait studios and at a custom lab. In 1999 she realized that she could take better pictures than many of the professionals whose work she produced at the lab, and Retina Burn Photography was born.
